King Arthur

I think my king Arthur presentation isn't that bad. Vivian and me, work on the ppt together. And we spend a good amount of time to finish the ppt. We didn't practice together, but we did memorize our own parts. We didn't really have our own parts ready, but we have everything ready as well as we have our own parts ready. At the start of making our own presentation, I really think that there isn't as much information as I thought there are. Then as I started the ppt, I realize that I could do a lot of pages to just finish everything. Also that our story isn't that good, because that is one of the King Arthur story that I have never heard before. So I did a lots of research, but finally I realize that the end isn't that hard. So I type the story out, did some parts about the real history. And that is mostly everything I did. When we are presenting, I don't think it is too hard, and as what I think it really isn't that hard. I am just sometimes confuse about what is on my ppt.

"Mother Robin"

Robin Lim, or an American woman who saved thousands of poor Indonesian women by giving them a healthy and safe pregnancy and birth. I feel in touch with her, because I realize she can save people that are in other countries. And many other people don't even want to save people arround them. Most of the time people only save other when things happened, or in another words, people will not usually save other people in normal conditions. For example you will not want to help the poor people around the streets. Not because you are a mean person, but most of the time you chose that they are not safe. Or in other conditions you think they are just lazy. But in the lady, Robin Lim, or "Mother Robin" I saw that she have a great heart to accept the others and give herself in. I found this article in CNN in the Hero of the Year, 2011.

Hero- Research-Norman Borlaug

Norman Borlaug-
 A man who saved lifes of human more then any other people. He died at the age 95. Earned the Nobel Peace Prize in the 1970. He have done many great things including Green Revolution" which help to grow food. He have the citizenship in United States. His talented field is in the Agronomy, and once earned Nobel Peace Prize, Presidential Medal of Freedom, public Welfare Medal, National of Science, Congressional Gold Medal, and Padma Vibhushan. Norman Borlaug is the founder of the World Food Prize, and help develop disease resistant,wheat variety and many other things that can help the world.

Textbook Revolution, from their website, is a student-run website that is dedicated to increasing the use of free textbook materials by teachers and professors. From what we see, Textbook Revolution seems to be a website that is filled with high end information that is not focused towards education for the young aged. Many of its textbooks, from what we see, are very hard and although the subjects for the website are very spread out and diverse, ranging from subjects like Biology to Environment. There is a broad range of textbooks from which you can choose from. Many of the textbooks found are not only textbooks but also .pdf files or websites. Some of the textbooks are also some books that may be used in college. However, not only do they have textbooks, they also introduce college courses with a brief overview and a website and the name of the institution to give you a rough idea and give you a view on the course. Although there actually is quite some amount of textbooks, that would be nowhere close to acting as a database of textbooks. Textbook Revolution could improve if there were some high school or middle school textbooks to add to the varying assortment of textbooks.

Hero

That us look at the people who were called the heros. They are suppose to have super powers, and they are mostly very famous-comicc super hero. So from this we can understand two things. First, people with super powers and save people are called a hero. Secondly, we will find outthat the people with super powers are hero not just because they save people and save super powers. They will need people to called them hero, they will need a thing to do to make them a hero. So if we look only at the thing that make them hero. It is that the person have done something, and other people, not including the person himself, started calling him a hero, or could be anything that have the identity a hero have. So we can make everything clear, first there will need to be a person. The person will need to do anything, anything that will be working, identity of making another people or person called him a hero. And for people or a person to called him a hero, there need to be the people or a person to exsit. Then the people or a person will need to called the hero a hero or anything that have the identity of a hero should have. So anyone could be a hero, he don't need to be famous he will need atleast a person to call him a hero.

Grading

Although I don't correct people's paper a lots of time. But I can still come up with some ideas, or normal ideas. First, I will try finding the things that is important for a paper. And that often is things like grammer spelling mistakes, and also things like the main idea or the basic things that you that you are writing. For example the grammer, I will check on the basic grammer like the subject-verb-agreement. And many other things, like the s- and no s. Also thing like the spelling which is the basic, and I think there will not be any person in the world today that is still going to make mistake on spelling. But the main thing that I think is the most important, is the main idea and the things like the detail the person is writing. That means I dont really care about the things like the grammar and the spelling. But I care more about the main idea and what the person is saying and what the person want to say. This is main because I think even if a person can use very good word chose and is a very good english writer. The things compare to a person who don't speak good English and cannot write good gerammar. Even if the person is like that, the NotGood-writer might write better, not by the word chose or anything else. But by the things like the feeling that he is expressing and the effort that he put in the article. But this will only happen under that people could see his effort ad the feeling that he is trying to put in.

Legend

To turn someone into legend, first of course the person need to be very famous. And he will need to be famous in a good way, or at least that is how the public think the famous person is. Then the person will need to have stories, it could be stories that the media make up, and it could be stories that the person tend to make up. The person can also be famous in the bad way, even if he is a good person. Because most of the stories that come up should be bad. But bad stories could also be legend, because most of the time there is a antagonist and a protagonist. So you can also become a legend by being the antagonist of the legend. But that would not be a good idea. The easier way to become famous and have a legend is to have money. When you have money, everything is possible. And everything will start to come to you. Media will come to you, many people will come, but this doesn’t mean everyone who come close to you is a bad person. For example, when you saw a normal person compare to a poor person beside a street, you will choose the normal person. Also when you saw a smart person, and a stupid person, you will rather choose the smart person. And often the smart and rich person have all the money, and that means people will gather around the people.
